Together Alone
Graphic design, data visualisation and photo-editing/treating/grading for a longform article at RNZ. Such touching stories, told beautifully by some amazing people who have had to face so many difficult obstacles in their lives.
With clear and powerful visual storytelling, the hope is that RNZ can bring greater awareness to the problems faced by so many in our community and real change can follow, leading to better outcomes for those most in need.
Alien Weaponry Shake Europe
Graphic design and photo-editing/treatment for the longform web story at RNZ on Alien Weaponry - New Zealand’s young metal band who toured Europe and introduced many in the crowd to Te Reo Māori, the indigenous language of Aotearoa, New Zealand.
White Noise
Graphic design and photo-editing/grading/treatment for RNZ’s longform article about the future planning for New Zealand’s largest city, Auckland. It turns out being middle aged, white and wealthy means you are more likely to have your voice heard when it comes to planning, but these aren’t the people making up the largest section of the city’s population. Basically, it’s UX for cities. We need to identify all the users in a scenario, remove bias and empathise to design well - even when that design is an entire city’s future.
